Upgrade Your FN SCAR with the F5 Gen 2 Modular Stock System

The F5 Gen 2 Modular Stock System (MSS) is a premium enhancement for your FN SCAR platform, delivering modern styling, rugged durability, and versatile adjustability. Whether you're upgrading your SCAR 15, SCAR 16, SCAR 17, SCAR 20, or Cypher rifle, this side-folding, adjustable stock system gives your rifle a high-performance edge.

Inspired by the iconic ACR stock, the F5 Gen 2 brings an aggressive new look to your setup—along with practical enhancements for comfort and control.

Key Features of the F5 Gen 2 Stock for FN SCAR Rifles

  • Premium Construction: Durable black polymer body with an optional Cerakote Flat Dark Earth (FDE) finish.
  • Fully Adjustable: Fine-tune your setup with adjustable comb height (cheek rest height) and length of pull to achieve the perfect fit.
  • Left-Side Folding Design: The robust aluminum folding mechanism folds to the left, staying clear of the ejection port. The rifle can still be fired with the stock folded.
  • Lightweight Strength: The included adapter is CNC-machined from 6061 billet aluminum, keeping the total system weight to just 21 oz.

Designed for SCAR Compatibility and Versatility

Engineered in collaboration with trusted manufacturers, the F5 Gen 2 MSS is ideal for tactical professionals and precision shooters alike. The telescoping, side-folding design makes it a powerful upgrade for demanding conditions—providing increased comfort, portability, and durability.

Compatibility

The F5 Gen 2 Modular Stock System is compatible with:

  • FN SCAR 15
  • FN SCAR 16
  • FN SCAR 17
  • FN SCAR 20
  • Cypher models

Disclaimer

Due to the aluminum-on-aluminum interface between the stock adapter and the SCAR’s rear back plate, a small amount of movement or “wiggle” may be present when properly installed. This is normal and does not affect performance or durability. For users who prefer a tighter fit, applying Teflon tape to the mating surfaces is a popular solution to reduce play and ease installation.
