Is this a registered SBR?
Yes. This rifle is a legally registered short barrel rifle and will be transferred to your selected FFL/SOT dealer via Form 3. All NFA rules apply.
Is a tax stamp required?
Yes. You will need an approved ATF Form 4 and a $200 NFA tax stamp to take possession. Your FFL/SOT will assist with the application.
Can I request the original 16.25" barrel?
The original long barrel is removed during the conversion and is available for separate purchase. It is not included in the SBR package.
Can I use a suppressor with the SCAR 17S SBR?
Yes, but proper configuration is critical. Suppressing a SCAR without adjusting the gas system can cause immediate and severe damage. We strongly recommend using the Imperial Arms Buffered Bolt Carrier (BBC) and a KNS Discarder adjustable gas regulator to safely manage excess gas pressure.
Who performs the conversion and engraving?

Are upgraded parts included?
No. The rifle includes the standard FN stock and trigger. However, we offer aftermarket triggers, stocks, and accessories separately for those seeking additional customization.
Does converting the SCAR to an SBR void the factory warranty?
Yes. FN America does not extend the factory warranty to converted SBRs. Armory of Kings does not offer a warranty on the complete firearm but supports proper function of the installed barrel and configuration.
